Job summary

CSC Holdings Limited Group in Singapore seeks a civil engineering assistant to support project managers on foundation and geotechnical projects, ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and schedules.

You will review calculations, coordinate with clients and site teams, monitor progress, attend meetings, and help with documentation while travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a PE Board Singapore-recognized university.
• Willingness to work at construction sites and travel between project locations.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical drawings, method statements, and project documentation to support project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Monitor site activities and project progress to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Attend project and site meetings, follow up on action items, and assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Support project planning by determining operational requirements, resources, and work schedules.
• Assist with technical submissions and coordinate documentation for relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation for internal and external use.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within required timelines by complying with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards and proactively identifying site hazards.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing foundation and geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a university recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore
• Strong interest in developing a career in foundation, piling, or geotechnical engineering
• Relevant experience in foundation, piling, or geotechnical works is advantageous; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based construction environment
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with a proactive and hands-on attitude
• Willingness to work at construction sites and travel between project locations as required
