Masstron Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Engineer in Singapore. You will support Sales and Production to develop customer assembly solutions, cost BOMs, and coordinate projects from proposal to production completion.

Fresh graduates and interns are welcome, with hands-on exposure to engineering design, manufacturing processes, and project coordination in the communications equipment industry.

Qualificações

• Must have or pursuing Diploma/Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Basic working knowledge of CAD software required.
• Interest in mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Develop practical assembly solutions with Sales input.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for proposals.
• Create assembly drawings using CAD to communicate solutions.
• Coordinate with Production after orders are confirmed to align drawings and materials.
• Monitor project progress and assist in troubleshooting to meet delivery schedules.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents and work instructions.
• Suggest improvements to assembly methods and production processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Project Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with our Sales and Production teams to develop customer assembly solutions, support quotations and coordinate projects from the initial proposal through to production completion.

This role offers a good opportunity to gain practical experience in engineering design, BOM costing, manufacturing processes and project coordination within the communications equipment industry.

Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering & Solution Development: Work with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and develop practical assembly solutions.

• BOM & Costing: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and material requirements to support product costing, quotations and project proposals.

• CAD Drawings: Prepare assembly drawings using CAD software to communicate proposed solutions to customers and internal teams.

• Project Coordination: Coordinate with Production after orders are confirmed to ensure drawings, materials and assembly requirements are clearly communicated.

• Production Support: Monitor project progress, assist in troubleshooting technical issues and work with relevant teams to meet delivery schedules.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain assembly drawings, Work Instructions and other technical documents.

• Process Improvement: Participate in technical discussions and suggest practical improvements to assembly methods and production processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.

• Basic working knowledge of CAD software.

• Interest in mechanical assembly, manufacturing processes and engineering solutions.

• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Able to communicate effectively and work with different teams.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently with guidance.
