Job summary

MMV ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a dedicated project professional to plan and deliver ELV/Electrical installation projects. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, safety, quality control, manpower planning, submittals, and procurement. The role requires readiness to handle overtime and ad-hoc technical tasks at project sites.

Candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in ELV/Electrical installation and be prepared to work on site across projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the ELV and/or Electrical installation industries in a similar position.
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends and public holidays at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the project under his/her charge, including budget planning, progress certifying and monthly billing.
• Plan, monitor and control the project schedule to ensure on-time completion and document delays to protect SKK’s interests.
• Ensure Zero Accident in the working environment and manage safety.
• Control non-conformance issues to the lowest level possible.
• Maintain high-quality standards in installation and documentation.
• Forecast manpower loading with the right skills and review regularly.
• Submit and obtain approvals for project submittals.
• Source procurement through purchasing and obtain approvals.
• Lead and/or assist in tender submissions.

Job Requirements

• Responsible to plan and deliver the project under his/her charge, which shall include but not limited to the following:
  • Financial Aspect – Project budget planning so as to improve project margin at completion. Ensure progress claim and being certified and billed monthly.
  • Project Schedule – to plan, monitor and control the schedule so as to complete project in time. Any delay due to other trades shall be documented to protect SKK’s interest.
  • Project Safety Management – To ensure Zero Accident in the working environment.
  • Non-conformance Management aspect – to ensure any non-conformance issue be in control and/or well managed to its lowest if not the zero level.
  • Quality aspect – to ensure high-quality standard in all aspects particularly on the installation and documentation works.
  • Project Manpower Planning – to forecast the manpower loading with the right skill and review regularly.
  • Project Submittal – to submit and obtain approval.
  • Purchasing– to source for submission and obtain approval before request for procurement.
• Responsible to lead and/or assist in any tender submission regardless of its size.

They must also be prepared to handle ad-hoc hand-on technical jobs. All Candidates need to prepare to perform overtime work and work on weekends/PH at project sites.

Working Experience
