Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Planner for a 1-year contract at Bukit Timah (Rifle Range Army Camp). Responsibilities include determining raw materials, coordinating production schedules, and managing SAP data.

Working hours are Mon-Fri, 8am to 5.45pm with salary of SGD 2,500 plus OT and a completion bonus. Candidate should have SAP experience in a manufacturing setting, strong Excel/MS Project skills, and familiarity with BOMs, routings, and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum O Level.
• Hands-on experience with SAP in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Project for planning, tracking and reporting.
• Prior experience in production control or planning within a manufacturing plant is advantageous.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and determine required raw materials and components for P&E production per production plans.
• Develop and coordinate production schedules to optimize resources and meet timelines.
• Raise and process Purchase Requisitions for raw materials to support production requirements.
• Create and manage production jobs in SAP with accurate data.
• Monitor material deliveries from vendors to prevent production delays.
• Track production output against schedules and assist corrective actions.
• Generate monthly sales delivery reports aligning production with customer needs.
• Maintain BOMs and routings in SAP for data accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate lot allocations for plant production and optimize material usage.
• Perform product and service costing analyses to support decisions.

Job Descriptions

• Calculate and determine the required raw materials and components needed to support the production of Pyrotechnic & Explosive (P&E) components and parts in accordance with production plans

• Develop, plan, and coordinate production schedules to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of manufacturing activities

• Raise and process Purchase Requisitions for raw materials and components to ensure sufficient supply in line with production requirements

• Create, update, and manage production jobs within the SAP system, ensuring all entries are accurate and completed in a timely manner

• Monitor and follow up on the delivery status of materials and components from vendors to ensure production timelines are not impacted

• Track and monitor production output against planned schedules, identifying any discrepancies and supporting corrective actions where necessary

• Generate and monitor monthly sales delivery reports to ensure alignment between production output and customer requirements

• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings in SAP to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all products

• Conduct regular cycle counts of components to maintain inventory accuracy and support effective inventory control practices

• Assist in preparing and coordinating lot allocations for plant production to ensure efficient workflow and material usage

• Perform product and service costing analysis to support decision-making and cost control initiatives

Job Requirements
