Assistant Plant Manager for a Japanese food manufacturing company

Job Responsibilities

• Support to Plant Manager: Prepare meeting materials and take minutes; Report to HQ in Japanese (Japanese language required); Coordinate schedules and tasks with other departments
• Management Support: Facilitate smooth communication with on-site staff (Chinese language required); Assist in daily operations and issue resolution on the production floor

Job Requirements

• Strong interest in the food manufacturing industry (experience preferred but not required)
• Conversational to business-level Chinese (essential for internal communication)
• Business-level Japanese (reporting line to Japanese MD)
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Proactive, eager to learn, and open to new challenges (no prior experience required)
• Motivated to build operations from the ground up as part of a team
