Qualifications

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering Science, Chemical process, Food Science, Biotechnology, or any other relevant discipline.
• Candidate without experience may apply.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel/Words).
• Knowledge/experience in microbiology/Molecular laboratory is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory-specific methods on materials or finished products, media making, testing as directed.
• Reagent/media preparation, sample collection and identification, testing and reporting results.
• Assist in tracking, maintaining, and ordering lab consumables and supplies.
• Perform routine lab maintenance and environment monitoring; ensure equipment maintenance.
• Read and complete documentation of work through data recording or electronic notes.
• Assist in routine/non-routine lab test methods per documented instructions.
• Participate in quality control, investigations, and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Any other duties as assigned; ensure safety and EHS compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory specific methods on materials or finished products, media making, special projects or specified testing as directed
• Reagent/media preparation, sample collection and identification, sample testing and reporting result
• Assist in the tracking, maintaining, and ordering of lab consumable and supplies
• Perform routine lab maintenance, including but not limited to lab cleaning & sanitization , lab environmental monitoring and lab equipment maintenance
• Read and complete documentation of work through data recording and / or electronic note booking
• Assist in application of routine/non-routine lab test methods (e.g. Challenge tests, Method Validation) as per documented instructions or procedures
• Participates in quality control, problem solving, continuous quality improvement activities and assist Molecular/Microbiologist in any abnormality investigation
• Any other duties as and when assigned
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives

Requirements:
