Job summary
Molex Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer, Metrology to support measurement-related activities across the NPI process and ensure accurate measurement systems and fixture development for new products.
You will work with cross-functional teams, review drawings, coordinate with suppliers, and perform MSA/capability studies to meet quality objectives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of metrology tools, measurement principles, and GD&T.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, NX, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software.
- Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Support measurement-related activities during the NPI cycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers on fixture design, fabrication, and rework.
- Review fixtures and engineering drawings before measurement program creation.
- Partner with AQP teams to prioritize measurement activities and project requirements.
- Perform MSA, capability studies, and other statistical analyses.
- Update and maintain quality documentation, including inspection checklists and control plans.
- Schedule and coordinate measurement and testing requests to meet project timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
