Job summary

Phillip Securities Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager, Unit Trust Operations to oversee daily unit trust operations, including processing subscriptions, redemptions, and switching. You will lead the Unit Trust Operations team, coach staff, ensure MAS compliance, and coordinate with fund houses and custodians on settlements and reconciliation, leveraging the FAME platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in unit trust or fund operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of unit trust processes including NAV calculations, corporate actions, and fund settlements.
• Familiarity with CPFIS/SRS requirements.
• Proficiency in fund administration and MAS regulatory framework.
• Leadership and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of coding, AI adoption, or RPA is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Unit Trust Operations department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of subscriptions, redemptions, and switching transactions
• Manage and supervise the Unit Trust Operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance development
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from MAS and other governing bodies
• Coordinate with fund houses, custodians, and internal stakeholders on settlement and reconciliation matters
• Monitor and enhance operational workflows on the FAME platform and related systems
• Handle escalated client enquiries and resolve operational issues promptly
• Prepare management reports on operational performance and risk metrics
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in unit trust or fund operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Strong knowledge of unit trust operational processes, including NAV calculations, corporate actions, and fund settlements
• Familiarity with CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) requirements
• Proficiency in fund administration
• Excellent understanding of MAS regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
