Job summary
MSIG ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a role focused on executing Regional and Global Programme strategies within the general insurance space. You will drive profitable growth, collaborate with underwriting, reinsurance and claims teams, and manage accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and sound risk management.
The position involves liaising with overseas offices, negotiating and renewing business within personal risk authority, and supporting the department’s targets and credit control policies.
Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma / GCE A' level qualification &/or professional insurance qualifications.
- Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI/ComGI) & HI.
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing Regional and Global Programmes' strategies
- Responsible for the profitable growth and development of Regional/Global Program business to meet department targets
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Reinsurance and Claims teams to manage accounts and loss ratios
- Negotiate, underwrite, accept and renew business within personal risk acceptance authority
- Ensure compliance of Company's underwriting guidelines, service standards and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Monitor outstanding premium payable and implement the company's credit control policy
- Liaison with our overseas offices/partners for Regional/Global program related business and matters
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
