Job summary

Tuas Power Generation Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified engineer to lead front end engineering and feasibility studies for EPC development of new projects at Tuas South. The role involves energy efficiency improvements, retrofitting, and upgrading works, with coordination of testing and commissioning with contractors and Station O&M personnel.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Control & Instrumentation and at least 3 years in a similar scope; MOM-recognized Construction

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Control & Instrumentation is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar scope.
• MOM-recognized Construction Safety certificate for Project Manager is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead front end engineering and feasibility studies for EPC development of new projects.
• Oversee energy efficiency improvements, major retrofitting, upgrading works.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning with contractors and Station O&M personnel.
• Perform project management functions.
• Certify payment claims.
• Lead the conceptualization and preparation of specifications for new projects.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required by Station management.

Job Responsibilities

• Leading in front end engineering and feasibility studies for EPC development of new projects, energy efficiency improvements works, major retrofitting, upgrading works

• Other assignments as required by the Station management, such as repair of jetties facilities, diesel storage tanks inspections work, sales and demolitions of decommissioned assets

• Participate in testing and commissioning coordination with contractors and Station O&M personnel

• Project management functions

• Payment claims certification

• Leading in the conceptualization and preparation of specifications for development of new projects

• Any ad hoc duties assigned

Minimum Requirement

• Possess a recognized Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Control & Instrumentation

• At least 3 years working experience in similar job scope

• Possess MOM-recognized Certificate in Construction Safety for Project Manager will be an advantage

This position is located in Tuas South, company transport provided to/from Choa Chu Kang and Jurong East MRT station.
