Job summary

CLA SE ASIA HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior accountant to support directors in engagement pitching and client onboarding, while managing outsourced accounting for a diverse client portfolio.

You will deliver accurate financial statements, perform month-end closes, and ensure compliance with local standards. The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, consolidation and fund administration knowledge, and proficiency with Xero or MYOB in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in outsourced accounting or professional services.
• Experience in consolidation, investment accounting and fund administration advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting.
• Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and local statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client service skills.
• Meticulous, organised, accountable and able to work independently in deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review full sets of accounts, monthly management accounts, financial statements and reports.
• Review work by associates and senior associates for accuracy and compliance.
• Coach and guide junior team members through training and review comments.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial teams and other stakeholders.
• Participate in ad hoc projects, system implementations and process improvements.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and service delivery.

• Serve as a key liaison with clients on routine accounting, reporting, payment processing, and operational matters.
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts, monthly management accounts, financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports.
• Review work prepared by associates and senior associates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and client requirements.
• Guide and support junior team members through coaching, work allocation, review comments, and on-the-job training.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial teams, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments, system implementation, automation initiatives, and internal improvement projects where required.
• Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance technical knowledge, service delivery standards, and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in outsourced accounting, client accounting services, or professional services.
• Experience in consolidation work, investment-related accounting work and fund administrative work will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, and management reporting.
• Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and local statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software, cloud-based platforms, and ERP software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar systems will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client service skills.
