Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development (MSF) invites applications for an Organisation Development specialist within the POD branch. You will work in the OD unit to design and drive staff engagement initiatives, gather and analyse engagement data, and collaborate with senior leadership on transformation efforts to strengthen the organisation’s culture.

You will partner with diverse stakeholders, diagnose challenges, and implement evidence-based interventions while supporting large-scale change

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of organisation development and systems thinking.
• Appreciation of how external environment can impact the organisation and how different parts are connected.
• Understand how culture impacts an organisation’s business, and how it is expressed within organisations.
• Foundations of OD theory and practice, with knowledge of relevant tools for diagnosis and change.
• Ability to support the design and delivery of facilitated discussions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement staff engagement initiatives to strengthen engagement and build a healthy organisational culture.
• Design ways to systematically collect data as a means to track ground sentiment on how staff are perceiving the workplace.
• Analyse employee engagement and pulse survey data to identify organisational strengths, gaps, root causes, and translate insights into action plans.
• Support the design and delivery of small- and large-group engagements (e.g. townhalls, organisational events) to strengthen communication and staff engagement.
• Support the development and implementation of change management strategies to align to and support organisation-wide transformation efforts.
• Oversee and render secretariat support for relevant Group-level meetings.
