Job summary

RGE is seeking a logistics professional to own freight operations across the group, coordinating shipments and resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders. The role supports project and operations procurement functions and drives continuous improvement including digital initiatives.

The candidate will manage 3PL performance, lead reviews, and collaborate with business units to enhance efficiency and productivity while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in logistics/supply chain, engineering or business management.
• 5-7 years of relevant logistics operations experience.
• Experience planning/executing and monitoring enterprise transformation, including digitalization/AI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Job description

This role manages RGE group’s freight operations and implements logistics excellence initiatives, by supporting the Project and Operation (both Direct and Indirect) procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Own logistics operations and establish working relationship across internal and external stakeholders for shipment coordination and issue resolution
• Drive supply chain process alignment, check and training across the group
• Manage performance of 3PL: leading business and operations review to exceed KPIs as well as serving as escalation point for key issues
• Partner with Business Units and functions to deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity, including through digital/ technology implementation
• Contribute to the team’s/ department’s knowledge by actively sharing best practices and guiding other team members as necessary

Requirements:

• Degree in logistics/ supply chain, engineering or business management
• 5- 7 years of relevant experience with demonstrated capabilities in logistics operations (freight and warehousing)
• Experience in logistics operations (e.g. inbound/ outbound operations and warehousing activities, documentation and permits, freight forwarding etc) and/ or service provider management
• Experience in planning, executing and monitoring enterprise transformation initiatives, including digitalization/ AI implementation
• Communication skills and stakeholder management experience in a matrix organization
• A strong mindset of continuous improvement and challenging the status quo, with an analytical and hands-on approach
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
