The Assistant Manager supports the University’s operations by ensuring the timely and compliant onboarding of staff across all employment schemes, work pass administration as well as the timely and accurate charging of recruitment cost to the respective cost centres. As a specialist in work pass matters, the role provides subject‑matter expertise to support regulatory compliance and smooth onboarding processes. The role also supports the team’s automation and digitalisation efforts by working with internal stakeholders to streamline workflows, standardise processes, and improve candidate and staff experience. In addition, the Assistant Manager contributes to the review and improvement of operational processes, SOPs, and service controls to support efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
