Job summary

CapitaLand Investment Limited is seeking an experienced M&E professional to provide technical support to the Operations team, reviewing tender scopes and replacement equipment for M&E assets. You will assist with inspections, project handovers, and defect rectifications to ensure equipment meets specifications.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical, 3–5 years of relevant work, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or cert in Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of M&E services and maintenance requirements.
• LEW license or LV/HV knowledge and SCADA preferred.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for tender documents for M&E equipment replacement.
• Review and support M&E maintenance scopes for cost containment.
• Assist with project handover and pre-opening inspections and defect rectifications.
• Guide Operations on M&E end-of-life replacement schedules and specs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project execution and efficiency.
• Oversee energy/water saving opportunities and monitor plant performance.
• Manage digital solutioning and platform management to drive productivity.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the Operations team ontender document review, developing/ reviewing the scope of work and specifications for M&E equipment replacement such as switchgear, genset, etc based on the latest code of practice and authorities’ requirements.
• Review and provide technical support for M&E maintenance contract scopes and requirements for cost saving/ containment and effectiveness to prolong equipment lifecycle based on based on the latest code of practice and authorities’ requirements.
• Assist with project handover and pre-opening programs, including on-site inspections, site acceptance tests, and defect rectifications to ensure the equipment is operating at the right specifications.
• Offer technical support to the Operations team in addressing M&E operational challenges.
• Provide technical guidance on M&E end-of-life replacement schedules and specifications.
• Offer technical guidance, recommendations, and tracking of electrical loads, contracted capacity and maximum demand.
• Manage and execute assigned projects and improvement initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of required operations, maintenance, and project activities.
• Conduct audits and identify energy/ water saving opportunities, track and monitor chiller plant performance and provide timely advice to the Operations team to address any shortcomings.
• Oversee digital solutioning and platform management to drive improvements in operational productivity and efficiency.
• Undertake any other new tasks assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or any professional certification in Electrical or Mechanical or related discipline
• Preference will be given to those with minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Familiar and good knowledge on M&E services and maintenance requirements
• Preference will be given to those with minimum Grade 7 Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) or good knowledge in Low/High voltage electrical and Scada system
• Experience in Energy Management and Audit or digital solutioning will be an added advantage
• Good command in English, spoken and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Ability to multi-task, analytical and meticulous and high level of initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Team player
