Job summary

IHH Healthcare's Gleneagles Hospital seeks a Head of Environmental Services to lead the housekeeping department, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

You will direct service quality, manpower planning, vendor management, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration while developing a high-performing team and pursuing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in Environmental Services, Facilities Management, hospitality, Healthcare, or other service-related industries.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Healthcare experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong leadership potential, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Environmental Services department to deliver high standards of cleanliness, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Build, develop, and mentor a high performing team through coaching, staff engagement, training, and succession planning.
• Manage outsourced service providers and ensure contractual, operational, and quality requirements are achieved.
• Plan and manage departmental manpower, budgets, resources, and operational performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the hospital to support operational needs and organizational objectives.
• Participate in selected cross functional projects and hospital initiatives as part of professional development and leadership growth.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Working Hours:

• Mon to Thu: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm

• Fri: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
