Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking an Assistant / Maintenance Engineer for on-site work at Ang Mo Kio and various camp sites. The role involves corrective and preventive maintenance on MINDEF / Home Team systems with a 24/7 rotation, coordinating tasks, and ensuring contractual KPIs are met.

You will work with engineers, team leads and project managers to deliver quality maintenance services, with opportunities for short-term overseas attachments and training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics or any engineering equivalent
• Able to work 24/7 standby for activation work on rotational basis
• Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
• Perform failure localization and isolation, disassembly and replacement or repair, reassembly, checkout, correction verification, rectification and carry out Scheduled Preventive Maintenance in all Customer sites
• Provide fault rectification with the objective of minimal downtime
• Preferably to have valid Class 3 license
• Singaporeans only

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will need to be able to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance / Engineering Job on MINDEF / Home Team Systems with a rotational 24/7 maintenance support. You will be responsible for the maintenance of MINDEF / Home Team systems and work closely with engineers; Team Leads and Project Managers to deliver quality maintenance services to our customers and meet contractual KPI. You may have opportunities to be short-listed for participation in short-term overseas attachment and training courses. You will have opportunities to manage maintenance operations at team, or workshop level.
