Job summary

The British Club in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Manager reporting to the General Manager. You will oversee the Club's IT operations, security, infrastructure and applications as the sole IT professional, ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment for daily business activities.

You will manage networks, Microsoft 365, backups, disaster recovery, vendor relationships, and user support, drive technology improvements, and ensure business continuity while aligning IT

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, leadership and project management.
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to support end users after office hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations and provide timely technical support to users.
• Maintain IT infrastructure including servers, network, Microsoft 365, end-user devices and business applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the security, availability and reliability of all IT systems.
• Manage cybersecurity measures, system backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Coordinate IT projects, system upgrades and technology enhancements.
• Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, software licences and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and data protection requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

As the sole IT professional, you will oversee the Club's IT infrastructure, business applications, network, cyber security, vendor management and user support, while driving technology improvements and ensuring business continuity.

• Maintain and administer the Club's IT infrastructure, including servers, network, Microsoft 365, end-user devices and business applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the security, availability and reliability of all IT systems.
• Manage cybersecurity measures, system backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Coordinate IT projects, system upgrades and technology enhancements.
• Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and maintenance.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent with at least 5 years’ of relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Hands-on technical experience of IT infrastructure, strong leadership and problem-solving skills and experience in Project Management
• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
• Service oriented, able to work independently and within a team
• Support end users after office hours when required
