Kempinski Hotels SA in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Housekeeper (Local candidates only) to support day-to-day housekeeping on floors and public areas, reporting to the Executive Housekeeper. The role includes assisting in managing the housekeeping team, ensuring prompt, courteous service, and maintaining the hotel's high cleanliness standards for guest satisfaction.

Competenze

• Interpersonal skills and guest services experience.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality roles preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.

Mansioni

• Direct and control day-to-day housekeeping operations on floors or public areas to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Monitor processes to ensure timely, defect-free service for guests.
• Assist in managing the housekeeping team and cover in absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Allocate work assignments to staff to ensure prompt, courteous service to guests and other departments.
• Attend daily briefings and note VIP arrivals and special attention items for guests.
• Keep staff informed on daily operations and challenges; provide necessary information.
• Schedule routine inspections of housekeeping areas, including occupied and unoccupied rooms.
• Handle guest comments and requests to meet satisfaction.
• Manage hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution of team members.
• Ensure good inter-departmental communication and budget-conscious use of supplies.
• Attend meetings and complete administrative duties as required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
