Job summary

STARCHEFS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Head Chef to support the Head Chef in managing all kitchen production operations and standards. You will oversee production, service quality, and kitchen workflow, while ensuring SOPs, hygiene, and safety compliance across the team.

You will assist with manpower planning, training, and performance monitoring, as well as cost control, stock management, and process improvements to boost efficiency. You will act as kitchen lead when the Head Chef is away.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and manage workflow under pressure.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills across departments.
• Experience in food quality, stock and cost control, and wastage management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an audit-ready kitchen compliant with hygiene requirements.
• Act as kitchen lead when Head Chef is absent.
• Carry out other kitchen management duties as assigned.
