Job summary

CHARTERHOUSE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Assistant Finance Manager to join a growing premium workspace and co-working group with local and overseas subsidiaries.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will handle day-to-day accounting, AR/AP, tax reporting and management reporting. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Business, at least 5 years in accounting, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Business is required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in AR/AP, full set of accounts, and tax reporting.
• Audit and accounting experience considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts including AR and AP for selected entities.
• Manage tax reporting for selected entities.
• Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts and budgets.
• Support management reporting and financial analysis.
• Partner with Operations, Sales and other departments on finance matters.
• Implement and enforce departmental and organisational controls and procedures.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing organisation in the premium flexible workspace and co-working sector, with local and overseas subsidiaries. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an active role across the day-to-day finance function, from handling full sets of accounts, AR/AP and tax reporting to management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering. This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the numbers, is comfortable taking ownership of accounting matters personally, and can work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), for selected entities and business operations
• Manage tax reporting for selected entities
• Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts and budgets for internal and external stakeholders
• Support management reporting and financial analysis
• Partner closely with Operations, Sales and other departments on finance-related matters
• Implement and execute departmental and organisational controls and procedures
• Support organisational and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting or Business
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong hands-on experience in full sets of accounts, management reporting and tax reporting
• Candidates with a combination of audit and accounting experience are preferred.
• Proficient in Accounting and ERP systems, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Self-driven, resourceful, proactive, independent and responsible
• Comfortable managing a dynamic workload and tight deadlines
