Job summary

PurpleForest Events Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Assistant Events Manager who will own a portfolio of government and institutional accounts, driving end-to-end accountability for outcomes and retention while partnering with the Director of Events on commercial growth.

You will stay hands-on, lead tender submissions, and coach Events Executives to deliver high-quality conferences and corporate events. Strong English communication and a track record in major events are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven account ownership of large-scale conferences, corporate events, or government projects.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor terms, and competitive proposals.
• Calm, authoritative leadership under pressure.
• Strong belief in robust SOPs and process discipline.
• Excellent English for government proposals and senior stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own Account Outcomes: take full accountability for major client relationships end-to-end, translating objectives into event solutions.
• Drive Tender & Growth Partnership: collaborate on strategic pitches and tender submissions to secure the pipeline.
• Deliver Uncompromising Standards: ensure outcomes and quality across medium to large events.
• Build Team Capability: coach Events Executives and foster proactive problem-solving.
