Job summary

Coway Engineering & Marketing Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support aerospace MRO operations and production activities. You will collaborate with the Assistant Manager, Production and Engineering teams to ensure smooth, efficient operations and timely delivery.

The role involves supporting production planning, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of aerospace, MRO or manufacturing experience preferred; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace MRO requirements.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of CMM, GD&T and Part 145 requirements an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Power BI knowledge an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; hands-on, organised and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of production and MRO activities.
• Support production planning and monitor job progress to meet required TAT.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams on operational matters.
• Assist in resolving production, technical and process-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain production KPIs and prepare reports for management.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Support tooling, equipment, consumable and raw material control.
• Assist with machine maintenance and verification.
• Support warranty activities and customer queries relating to job status and technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with company, quality, safety and aerospace regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
