Job summary

ACP Metal Finishing Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to oversee daily aerospace manufacturing operations, drive KPI improvements, and coordinate production planning.

You will manage manpower allocation, chemical processing activities, equipment maintenance, and ensure schedules align with QA/QC, NDT, sales, and customer requirements. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and 7–10 years in aerospace production, with at least 3 years in supervisory

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of production shopfloor experience in aerospace.
• Experience with chemical processing such as anodizing or electroplating.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and improving operational KPIs to meet targets.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of production lines, planning, and control.
• Manage manpower allocation, chemical processing activities, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure schedules align with Technical, QA/QC, NDT, Sales, and customer requirements.
• Maintain communication across departments to ensure operational alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and output.
• Ensure efficient plant operations with the production team and safety compliance.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping, safe working conditions, and proper chemical handling and waste disposal.
• Support staffing requirement planning and workforce allocation across production lines.

Requirements

Education:

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production shopfloor environment with the aerospace industry

Good to Have:

• At least 3 years in Aerospace industry in supervisory positions relating to operations.
• At least 3 years of chemical processing experience including but not limited to anodizing, electroplating, chemical cleaning, etc.
