Job summary

SEED SYSTEM PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced technician to maintain and repair UPS systems, CRAC units, and other critical infrastructure across multiple data center locations.

You will guide a team of technicians, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliant, timely service. The role requires 3–5 years in data center operations, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.
• 3–5 years’ experience in data center or critical facility operations with hands-on UPS/CRAC.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking tools; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, mobile environment and travel between sites.
• Class 3 driver’s license is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Advise and lead technical investigations for rectification works, ensuring proper resolution of issues.
• Be available for standby duty 24x7 to address urgent service needs.
• Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe execution.
• Maintain mobility; travel between sites as needed; Class 3 license advantageous.

• Track maintenance work, follow up on actions, and maintain accurate checklists, schedules, and reports.
• Advise and lead technical investigations for rectification works, ensuring proper resolution of issues.

• Review Risk Assessments (RA) and Method Statements (MOS) to ensure safe execution.
• Maintain mobility; a Class 3 driver’s license (or equivalent) is advantageous for driving between multiple sites and responding rapidly to urgent needs.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines (degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in data center or critical facility operations, including hands‑on work with UPS, CRAC, and building monitoring systems.
3. Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
4. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
5. Proficiency with maintenance tracking and reporting tools; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
6. Ability to work in a dynamic, mobile environment, responding flexibly to emergencies and traveling between sites.
7. Class 3 driver’s license is advantageous.
8. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
