Job summary

DOU YEE TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to support cross-functional teams in design, testing and standardization of processes. You will assist with inspections, data collection and preparing technical documents.

Ideal candidates hold a diploma in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering, have at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting, and work well with colleagues across departments to drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interact with various departments and staff at different levels.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in collaborating with other engineers and cross-functional team members to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes.
• Inspecting, maintaining & controlling engineering inventory.
• Assist engineers in evaluating all products and processes and ensuring standardization of quality assurance measures.
• Assist engineers in determining engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests.
• Assist the Engineer in preparing engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Assist engineers in resolving engineering/production problems by collecting and analyzing information.
• Assist the Engineer in maintaining project team accomplishments by following up on project status, coordinating the schedule with the cross-functional team & shipment plan.
• Assist the Engineer in preparing work instructions, guidelines & technical files by describing operational and testing methods and procedures.
• Carrying out tasks given by the engineer.
