Job summary

JMS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an Engineering Production Support Lead to provide technical support for manufacturing operations and drive process improvements. The role covers qualification activities, SOP maintenance, CAPA, and 5S compliance to ensure product quality and efficiency.

The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians, coordinating with Production and Engineering to optimize layout, introduce new processes, and manage deviations and changes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics / Robotics.
• Basic troubleshooting ability.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good project management, planning and negotiation skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration orientation.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for production operations and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Conduct equipment, machine, process, and mold qualification/validation activities.
• Develop, maintain, and audit SOPs, machine manuals, and engineering documentation to ensure cGMP compliance and product quality.
• Lead process improvements, automation initiatives, and engineering projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage production control activities, including rework, scrap/loss disposition, process deviations, process changes, and new process implementation.
• Supervise, develop, and allocate engineering staff, technicians, and assistants to support production targets.
• Coordinate machine installation, facility modifications, and production layout planning with Production and Engineering teams.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze production performance and operating costs to optimize resources and reduce losses.
• Support new projects and maintain workplace 5S standards to ensure an organized and efficient work environment.
• Any others ad hoc duties assigned by Superior.
