Job summary

Hilti Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer (Pull Out Tester) to support sales teams with routine testing at customer sites and ensure quality reports. You will maintain testing equipment, document results, and assist in transporting and handling tools, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role is contract-based and suitable for engineers with hands-on experience and drive to grow. The position requires two years in engineering or construction, GCE O Level or equivalent, and a Class 3

We’re looking for customer-focused Assistant Engineers (Pull Out Testers) who are eager to launch their careers with a rewarding, high-performing, and globally recognized organization.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Engineer, you will work closely with our Sales teams to perform routine testing at customer sites.

You will be responsible for conducting all tests in strict compliance with the Company’s quality standards and procedures. This includes maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of test activities and results, as well as ensuring that all test reports are detailed, accurate, and duly reviewed and co-signed by the immediate supervisor.

You will be responsible for maintaining all testing equipment and tools in excellent working condition. Proper care, security, and storage of equipment must be observed at all times, including during transportation and operational use.

What You’ll Bring

• Candidate with experience in engineering or construction, particularly with at least two years in the industry, will be an advantage.

More Importantly, You Need

• At least GCE 'O' Level, Nitec/Higher Nitec or Technical Diploma
• Good interpersonal skills and customer orientation
• An agile approach to solving problems
• Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
• Class 3 driving license is essential

Prior Experience With Construction Sites Is Preferred

• Comfortable with heavy lifting / manual work
