Assume overall administrative and supervisory responsibility for nursing education and training, working with clinical managers in accordance to learning needs
Lead hospital-wide educational programmes and maintain regular communication with clinical units on professional practices, service quality, and staff development
Lead with vision to realise the Nursing Division's strategic objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Develop, direct, plan, co-ordinate and evaluate nursing-related programmes, projects and activities
Supervise and evaluate Senior Nurse Educators and Executives, Nursing (Education), and participate in the hiring, counselling and/or termination process of nursing staff and trainees
Develop, formulate and review education and training policies, procedures and research activities within stipulated timeframes
Develop, administer and monitor work plans, training budgets, and capital equipment expenditure, ensuring spend remains within approved budget
Ensure audit compliance on regulatory, accreditation and licensing standards, and maintain training records accordingly
Liaise with internal departments, external bodies and national committees on training matters, maintaining relevant knowledge and expertise in nursing, education and management
Develop marketing strategies to raise the profile of the Nursing Education and Development department and collaborate with regional organisations on training programmes
Degree in Nursing with Post Basic/Advanced Diploma in Nursing with Valid full registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
Master degree in Education
Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education or Specialist Diploma in Clinical Education or equivalent
Valid BCLS certification
Minimum 10 years of experience and at least 2 years of experience as Senior Nurse Educator
Strong facilitation and communication with the ability to design and adapt training to meet staff needs
Digitally confident and able to manage stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes
