Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore seeks a seasoned IT/SCM professional to help safeguard RSN Enterprise System (Logistics). You will ensure system changes and access are compliant with governing policies and support the system's effectiveness.

You will work with relevant agencies and contractors, study current inadequacies, drive enhancements for the current system and its replacement, and help manage staff workloads while maintaining high stakeholder engagement and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, or Supply Chain Management.
• Education in Information Technology, Engineering or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and good interpersonal/communication abilities.

What You Will Be Working On

• Work with relevant agencies and contractors supporting the system to ensure RSN's interests are well-guarded and in compliance with policies
• Study the current inadequacies of the system
• Drive enhancements for the current system and its future replacement
• Manage the morale and workload of staff under your purview

Challenge(s)

• Understanding the interrelationship of the various supply, engineering, maintenance and finance modules, as well as the governing policies, to ensure compliance
• Grappling with the management of the logistics system alongside the concurrent development of its replacement system

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Information Technology, Engineering or Supply Chain Management is preferred
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Engineering, Maintenance, or Supply Chain Management
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
