Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development's Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) invites a senior professional learning and pedagogy leader. You will head the Professional Learning unit, shaping non-classroom-based development for EC and EI educators and aligning learning with organisational priorities.

You will translate research into practical learning experiences, provide leadership in pedagogy and inclusive practice, and build communities of practice while measuring impact on educator

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of experience across complex environments.
• Professional qualification in early childhood, education or related disciplines; experience in adult learning and pedagogy leadership is advantageous.
• Strong team leadership and stakeholder-management skills with coaching and developing capable teams.
• Strategic, systems and operational leadership to translate priorities into learning strategies.
• Excellent communication, analytical and change-leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of non-classroom-based professional development for EC/EI educators.
• Identify educator capability gaps through data, observation and sector developments.
• Translate research on professional learning into practical learning experiences for educators.
• Provide professional leadership in EC/EI pedagogy and inclusive practice for children with developmental needs.
• Develop communities of practice and peer-learning resources.
• Evaluate program effectiveness based on educator capability and practice changes.
