Job summary

National Institute of Early Childhood Development seeks a qualified educator to contribute to full-qualification and CPD course development. You will lead curriculum materials creation, coordinate with the C&P team, and develop engaging e-learning content using Technology Enhanced Learning tools.

The role involves collaboration with faculty, stakeholders, and external vendors, plus opportunities to contribute to CPD proposals and course redevelopment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Early Childhood / Education or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of teaching in early childhood settings with curriculum leadership positions.
• Experience in developing Early Childhood Curriculum for teacher education.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and curriculum delivery.

Responsibilities

• To give researched inputs to the Curriculum & Programmes (C&P) team on gaps and sectoral changes.
• To develop module documents, assignment descriptors, marking rubrics, session slides, session plans, SOW and reading materials.
• To consult faculty for peer review of materials during development.
• To develop e-learning materials for modules (Technology Enhanced Learning).
• To develop a test bank with multiple sets where applicable.
• To conduct unpacking sessions.
• To review available materials and communicate changes to stakeholders; conduct unpacking sessions for the course under redevelopment.
• To redevelop module documents, assignment descriptors, marking rubrics, session slides, session plans, SOW and reading materials.
• To redevelop e-learning materials for modules (Technology Enhanced Learning).
• To conceptualise ECDA-endorsed CPD and write proposals for endorsement and SSG funding.
• To engage with external vendors to develop materials.
• To lead benchmarking exercises and moderation with lecturers; conduct teaching observations to understand CPD materials usage.
• To follow-up module/course evaluations and conduct audits; collaborate on curriculum reviews.
• To teach full-qualification or CPD courses as planned or when necessary.
• To contribute to projects as assigned by the division.
