Job summary

• Experience with authority submissions for civil/structural/geotechnical works.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet tight deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

1. Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Experience with Design & Build (D&B) projects.

Responsibilities

1. Understand the overall engineering design scheme for the projects that you handle.
2. Support design manager, and manage the design process throughout all project phases until construction completion.
3. Review structural, geotechnical drawings for accuracy, constructability and compliance.
4. Manage design submissions, approvals, and revisions with relevant authorities.
5. Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables are completed within construction timeline, and manage shop drawings for Dwall, Slabs, Ground Improvement and etc. with design team engineers.
6. Support construction team by providing technical guidance and resolving design related issues.
7. Attend design coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow up action items.
8. Maintain effective communication among internal departments and external consultants.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.
3. Familiar with civil/structural/geotechnical engineering designs in local Codes, Regulations and requirements, and Eurocodes.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and engineer management.
5. Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil/structural/geotechnical works.
6. Able to manage projects independently and work under tight datelines.
