Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 5–10 years of experience in construction projects to manage procurement-related activities, subcontract administration, and tender processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Purchasing/Procurement, Business, or Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in quantity surveying and subcontract administration within construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the construction team to prepare accurate and complete documents for RFQ or Open Tender processes.
• Identify and engage potential tenderers and subcontractors by sending timely RFQ invitations.
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and the construction team during the RFQ stage.
• Organize and coordinate post-tender interviews involving tenderers, construction, quantity surveying, and contracts teams.
• Assist commercial and contracts managers with quantity surveying tasks related to Sub-Contracts, Works Orders, and Purchase Orders to ensure contract accuracy.
• Support the contracts team in administering subcontracts to maintain compliance and proper documentation.
• Process and verify payment requests from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely payments.
• Perform additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Contracts Manager to support project and contract needs.
