Job summary

Lendlease Corporation is seeking a Building Manager for Parkway Parade in Central Singapore. You will support the Property Manager in building maintenance, lead the engineering team, and ensure safe, efficient operations with a focus on M&E systems and compliance with EH&S and sustainability standards.

The role requires strong communication, IT proficiency, and the ability to manage contractors and external authorities while delivering on deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Building Operations related
• Experience in retail mall management or similar environment is essential
• ACMV knowledge and familiarity with Green Mark Building requirements would be advantageous
• IT-literate and proficient with MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of building maintenance and operations
• Lead the Engineering department to ensure safe, efficient centre operations
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and service contractors
• Ensure compliance with local codes, EH&S, sustainability and risk management requirements
• Oversee reporting, budgets, and ad-hoc upgrade projects
• Engage stakeholders across levels with a collaborative mindset

We live our values; respect, integrity, innovation, collaboration, excellence, and trust.In this role as a **Building Manager** at Parkway Parade, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;* Support the Property Manager in all aspects of building maintenance* Responsible in leading the Engineering department and create a strong and efficient operation team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the centre* Ensure the smooth operation of the centre in the areas of preventive maintenance schedules, performance of all service contractors, and implementation of company’s policies* Strong building operations and technical experience with risk management focus and drive* Understand and have good knowledge of the M&E systems within the asset and ensure that the systems are operating within the design efficiencies and smoothly (Trouble shooting, attend to complaints and achieving targets)* Understanding Corporate’s requirements on all aspects i.e. EH&S, Sustainability, Risk Management, Operation etc. and ensure that the assets adhered to these requirements and policies* Responsible for managing all service contractors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the centre* Ensure the centre meets the required efficiency and complies with all local codes and authorities’ regulations* Prepare management reports, documents and tracking* Assist in ad-hoc upgrading projects* Familiar with local code of practise for various M&E trade and local authorities’ regulation* Familiar with submission procedures to various authorities* Preferably familiar with technologies, opened minded and positive attitude on embracing technologies* Financial Management skills including budgeting and forecasting will be an advantage* Knowledge of MCST is advantageous**Requirements:*** Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Building Maintenance/ Property Management/ Facilities Management or Building Operations related or equivalent* Minimum 7 years experiences in retail mall management or relevant industry* ACMV Knowledge* Familiar with Green Mark Building Requirement* IT savvy and proficient in MS Office Applications* Knowledge with FSSD code will be an added advantage* Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to meet tight deadlines* Able to work independently with minimal supervision, with a collaborative mindset to engage with stakeholders from all levels* Strong characteristics with positive attitude and initiative* Excellent communication and written skills* Willingness to work beyond office hours;**Benefits of working at Lendlease:*** Permanent position* 20 days annual leave per year plus 3 days of wellbeing leave* Medical, Dental and Inpatient coverage for self and dependant.* Access to online wellbeing and mental health platformLendlease is a diverse, flexible and inclusive employer of choice.
