Sin Leong Lee Coffee Pte Ltd, a well-established local coffee manufacturer, seeks an experienced finance leader to own end-to-end accounting, cost control and ERP enablement. The role grows from hands-on operations to full team ownership with a clear path to Accounting Manager.
You will lead month-end closes, supervise 4–5 staff, ensure GST compliance, and drive robust costing across BOM, direct labour, and overheads. ERP rollout experience is highly valued.
This is a hands-on operational finance role focused on accounting accuracy, ERP system enablement and end-to-end manufacturing cost control, working closely with warehouse, production and cross-functional teams. You will go through a structured immersion period to master business workflows, ERP system, costing framework and team dynamics. Upon proven performance, you will progressively take full ownership of the accounting team and overall finance operations, with a clear succession path to Accounting Manager.
Own end-to-end full-set accounts and lead month-end closing processes; ensure accuracy of general ledger, balance sheet and P&L.
Supervise and guide a team of 4–5 accounting staffs; conduct regular work review and quality control. Gradually assume full team management responsibilities as you progress.
Ensure full GST compliance, including GST reconciliation and submission; maintain audit-ready documentation for internal/external audits and tax reviews.
Monitor daily cash flow and enforce internal financial controls across the organisation.
Provide end-to-end support for the newly implemented ERP system; troubleshoot accounting and operational issues, configure system settings to align with manufacturing costing logic.
Ensure accurate data flow across warehouse, production and finance departments; work with business users to standardise data entry, resolve data discrepancies and optimise system usage.
Execute full-scope manufacturing cost accounting: collect and allocate raw material, direct labour and manufacturing overhead costs; reconcile source documents including material issue slips, warehouse transactions and labour timesheets.
Perform WIP (Work-in-Progress) and finished goods valuation; prepare monthly product cost, unit cost and cost breakdown reports.
Conduct cost variance analysis by comparing actual cost against standard cost, budget and historical benchmarks; diagnose root causes for material wastage, labour inefficiency and overhead overruns.
Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 22000 system and HACCP plan; coordinate internal and external certification audits.
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
8–12 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing or F&B environment.
Solid knowledge of full-set accounts, month-end closing and Singapore GST regulatory requirements.
Prior experience supervising or managing a small accounting team.
Comfortable in a hands-on SME working environment, willing to roll up sleeves to solve operational problems.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
Strong manufacturing inventory and costing background, familiar with BOM structure and production-based cost allocation.
Hands-on ERP implementation / finance software rollout experience is highly advantageous.
Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
