Job summary

LVMH in Singapore seeks an Assistant Accountant to help ensure accurate and transparent financial records across multiple entities and Maisons. You will partner with commercial, retail, AR/AP, and cross-functional finance teams to maintain robust internal controls and support analytical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or audit.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP/finance systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Independent, adaptable team player capable of meeting deadlines.
• Fluent in English with strong cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily transactional accounting incl. journal entries, postings, and GL reconciliations.
• Execute month-end and period-end closes, including accruals and variance investigations.
• Maintain records for inventory, fixed assets, rent, and major operating expenses.
• Prepare documentation for audits, statutory requirements, and tax reporting.
• Provide data and insights to FP&A and commercial teams; support ad-hoc projects.
• AR duties: billings, receipts processing, collections & adjustments.
