Job summary

IPS Securex Pte Ltd is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance & Admin team in Singapore. This permanent role supports financial operations across multiple entities, including AR, AP, GL, compliance, tax, audit, and reporting.

The candidate should hold a Degree in Accountancy, have at least 5 years of accounting experience, and be proficient in Excel, Navision and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare group consolidated reports and compliance checklists.
• Compute and submit company tax, GST filings, and support corporate tax submissions.
• Monitor daily bank balances, cash flow, and prepare weekly reports.
• Handle full spectrum of AP, AR, and GL functions, including intercompany billing.
• Perform monthly closing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaise with banks on loan matters and monitor financial covenants.
• Support internal/external audits and assist with year-end financial reporting.
• Verify staff claims, manage petty cash, and process vendor payments.
• Draft financial presentation slides and prepare Board Pack materials.
• Contribute to financial planning, stocktake, system updates, and ad-hoc tasks.
