Job summary

PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions. You will ensure timely financial reporting and compliance across the group and its subsidiary.

You will lead budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and SAP implementation projects, while providing insights to management and coordinating with auditors and statutory bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience handling full set of accounts independently.
• Familiar with SAP system (implementation experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Singapore tax regulations.
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & reporting across the full set of accounts.
• Manage full set of accounts for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports per policy.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Singapore tax rules.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary.
• Cash flow management and intercompany reconciliation.
• Monitor liquidity and process intercompany settlements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury.
• Budgeting and forecasting; support cost control initiatives.
• Oversee tax compliance including GST returns.
• Lead SAP implementation; data migration and testing.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing SAP support.

Responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and its subsidiary, McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd. The role ensures timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supports budgeting, cash flow management, and system implementation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Handle full set of accounts for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and provide backup support for McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Group policies and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary on statutory matters.
• Cash Flow & Intercompany Management
• Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury-related matters.
• Budgeting & ForecastingPrepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
• Support management in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
• Tax & Compliance
• Assist in the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns.
• Prepare and review quarterly GST returns.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• System Implementation
• Lead and undertake SAP implementation for the company.
• Ensure proper configuration, data migration, and user testing.
• Provide support and training to end-users during and after implementation.
