Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced senior accountant to manage the full set of accounts and provide timely financial reporting for multiple entities in Singapore.

You will support budgeting and forecasting, ensure statutory compliance, and collaborate with auditors and regulators. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with full-set accounting.
• Experience handling multiple entities and intercompany reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Audit experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end, half-yearly, and year-end closures.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage complete sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end, half-yearly, and year-end financial closures.
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, including financial analysis, variance commentary, and key performance indicators.
• Handle accounting and reporting for multiple entities, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation support.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Corporate Tax, and annual audit obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to full-set accounting and multiple entities.
• Prior audit experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems.
• Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
