Qualifications

• Education: ITC or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience: 2+ years hands-on experience in QMS management and physical product inspections.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ISO 9001 standards, GD&T interpretation, and mechanical fabrication drawings.
• Soft Skills & Language: Strong written/spoken English; independent worker and team player.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Assistant QA Engineer / Technician, you will be key in maintaining and elevating product quality across bespoke automotive engineering projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, you will combine hands-on shop-floor inspections with QMS management, root cause analysis, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high-grade manufacturing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting: Report directly to the Head of Quality.

• QMS & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with clients and internal operations to ensure manufacturing and servicing comply with approved standards.

• Root Cause & Resolution: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA; handle customer complaints promptly to ensure client satisfaction.

• Inspections: Perform quality inspections on fabricated components, assemblies, and final acceptance testing.

• Reporting: Prepare and present quality metrics and data to support decision-making.

• Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally/overseas for assignments and undertake ad-hoc technical duties.

Requirements

• Education: ITC or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QMS management (metalworking/automotive engineering) and physical product inspections.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in ISO 9001 standards, mechanical fabrication drawings, and GD&T interpretation.

• Soft Skills & Language: Strong command of written and spoken English for client correspondence. Independent worker, strong team player, and capable of troubleshooting on the shop floor from day one.
