Job summary

Equiptest Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to support our precision manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role emphasizes hands-on measurement, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure components meet stringent specifications.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or related engineering background, familiarity with GD&T and ISO 9001, and is capable of using calipers, micrometers, and profile projectors.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Familiar with manufacturing, precision engineering and QA environments.
• Experience in high-mix low-volume production.
• Proactive in prioritizing tasks and independent work.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate project plans and track progress against timelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Inspect manufactured components with caliper, micrometer, and profile projector.
• Review inspection results and approve parts for next process.
• Prepare quality metric reports and summaries for customers.
• Identify and implement CAPA actions and assist with process improvements.

Job Description

• Facilitate execution of project plans and utilize appropriate methods and tools to track and drive progress of projects against set plans and timelines
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders related to the projects
• Track both internal and external quality project deliverables against project schedules
• Perform dimensional and geometrical measurements and inspection of manufactured components for evaluation of acceptability
• Approve parts for next process & data analysis.
• Review inspection result or data in accordance with inspection and test plans.
• Collate information for product and process quality metric management reports and provide summary statement to customers.
• Assist with various stakeholder to classify issues by implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) plans
• Manage Internal and External CAR analysis
• Manage Sub-con NC parts investigation
• Identify opportunities and propose improvement on QMS related process & procedures within own work area and assist with the implementation of workflow improvements to improve efficiency
• Assist the manager to identify, diagnose and resolve process related issues by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology
• Update and present QA monthly performance reports to internal stakeholder.

Requirements

Knowledge:

• Candidate must possess at least ITE/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Precision Engineering) or equivalent.
• Familiar with manufacturing process, precision engineering and quality assurance environment.
• High mix low volume work environment
• Independent and task prioritization
• Knowledge on Microsoft office software.
• Basic knowledge on ISO 9001.
• Knowledge on mechanical drawing, GD&T.
• Knowledge in CAPA / 8D / Root cause analysis

Skills

• Able to do OGP smart scope program independently.
