Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant QA Engineer / Technician to safeguard and elevate product quality across bespoke automotive projects.

You will perform hands-on shop-floor inspections, manage QMS tasks, and drive root-cause analysis with CAPA, collaborating with clients and internal teams.

This role requires clear English communication, independent work ethic, and willingness to travel for local and overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• Education: ITC or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience: 2+ years hands-on experience in QMS management and physical product inspections.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ISO 9001 standards, GD&T interpretation, and mechanical fabrication drawings.
• Soft Skills & Language: Strong written/spoken English; independent worker and team player.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Head of Quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS.
• Collaborate with clients and internal operations to ensure standards compliance.
• Conduct RCA and implement CAPA; handle customer complaints promptly.
• Perform quality inspections on fabricated components, assemblies, and final tests.
• Prepare and present quality metrics to support decision-making.
• Willingness to travel locally/overseas for assignments and ad-hoc duties.
