Job summary

Neste in Singapore seeks a Development Engineer to lead early phases of refinery capital investment projects, conducting technical and business evaluations and guiding pre-studies and feasibility analyses to define project scope.

You will collaborate with site and global teams, ensure safe operations, and drive asset development within the Neste PIPE model, coordinating with stakeholders across the refinery and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations and capital investment projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and EQ.
• Safety-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the early phases of refinery capital investment projects, including technical and business evaluations.
• Prepare investment concepts and lead pre-studies and feasibility studies to finalize project scope.
• Oversee project lifecycle from development to operation, including pre-commissioning and start-up planning.
• Develop expertise in investment project development per Neste PIPE model and drive continuous improvement.
