Job summary

Smartt is seeking a diligent technician to perform tasks in machining or assembly in ourChangi North Crescent facility. You will follow Work Instructions and Operating Method Sheets, ensuring tasks are completed without quality issues and within required timeframes.

Applicants should have 2+ years in machining or assembly manufacturing, be able to read simple English, and be willing to learn new skills while collaborating with different function groups on-site.

Qualifications

• Min GCE N Level or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in machining or assembly manufacturing.
• Able to read and understand simple English.
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changes.
• Willing to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in machining or assembly per WI/OMS.
• Meet quality targets during internal and customer inspections.
• Complete tasks within the given time.
• Escalate issues found during tasks.
• Follow safety protocols.

• To be assigned to performed tasks in machining or assembly area as required.
• Carry out the assigned tasks accordingly to Work Instruction (WI) or Operating Method Sheet (OMS) provided.
• Complete the assigned tasks without quality issues during internal inspection and from customers.
• Complete the assigned tasks within the given time.
• Escalate any issues found when performing the assigned tasks.
• Follow and strictly comply to the company policy and safety protocols.
• Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Min GCE “N” Level.
• 2+ years of working experience in machining or assembly manufacturing environment (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Able to work and collaborate with different function groups.
• Able to read and understand simple English.
• Willingness to learn new skills and accept adhoc changes.
• Willing to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.
