Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Electrical Assembly engineer to join a newly established production line.

You will perform assembly across three production processes and support the setup of new assembly methods. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, relevant experience in equipment assembly and installation, plus strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in equipment assembly, installation, setup or manufacturing operations.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, work instructions and equipment specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve hardware, software and process-related issues.
• Able to work independently and support development of new production processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of advanced equipment across three production processes.
• Support the setup and development of newly introduced assembly processes.
• Interpret technical requirements and determine the appropriate equipment assembly and setup methods.
• Handle chemicals and acids safely as part of the assembly process.
• Install and connect equipment components.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and process-related issues, including equipment calibration and performance testing.
