Job summary

Our client is a well-established manufacturing group in the electronics and technology sectors, expanding its engineering and production teams to support new customer programs. You will lead mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly process engineering for RF modules and related sub-assemblies.

You will develop assembly instructions, fixtures, and jig tooling, while supporting NPI, pilot runs, and the shift to volume production, ensuring IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 compliance and driving

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering.
• 2–4 years assembly/process engineering in electronics or precision manufacturing.
• Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly process engineering for RF modules, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies.
• Develop and document assembly work instructions, jigs, and fixtures to ensure repeatable build quality.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, pilot runs, and transition to volume production.
• Partner with Quality to drive workmanship compliance to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and customer-specific standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance first-pass yield.
• Support root cause investigations for assembly-related non-conformances and corrective actions (CAPA).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly process engineering for RF modules, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies
• Develop and document assembly work instructions, jigs, and fixtures to ensure repeatable build quality

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2-4 years of assembly/process engineering experience in electronics or precision manufacturing
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or IPC-A-610 standards
• Experience supporting NPI and low-to-medium volume, high-mix production environments
• Strong hands-on, floor-based problem-solving orientation
