Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of basic physics principles (e.g., electromagnetism, atomic physics)
• Working knowledge of mathematics and statistics (data analysis, uncertainty, trends)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
• High willingness to learn new concepts, tools and techniques
• Ability to work methodically with attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Learn the operating principles of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy and related instrumentation
• Support application development, testing, and validation of XRF measurement methods
• Assist in troubleshooting measurement issues and identifying root causes using physics-based reasoning
• Perform basic data analysis, statistical evaluation, and result interpretation
• Support internal teams (R&D, service, sales) with technical input and application knowledge
• Participate in customer demonstrations, system setup, and basic training activities (with guidance)
• Document procedures, application notes, and experimental results clearly and accurately
