Job summary

ASML Singapore PTE LTD is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to act as the technical interface between engineering and suppliers for repair parts and modules. The role combines supplier quality engineering and technical supplier management, emphasizing early involvement, design for manufacturability, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics/Robotics/Systems and Control, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with quality systems and methods (e.g. Six Sigma) and experience in engineering towards production processes is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical interface between the engineering team and the supplier for repair parts, components and modules (new parts and transfers).
• Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure proactive quality management through early involvement, design reviews and design for manufacturing, assembly, testing and cost.
• Deliverables and documentation such as statement of work, technical product document acceptance by supplier, proto evaluation reports, test coverage document, first article inspection, MFLOW, PFMEA and customer acceptance tests.
• Manage material quality notifications (MNs), deviation notices (DNs) and resolve part quality issues using problem solving techniques.
• Contribute to supplier development, improve operational excellence, drive improvement actions, and support supplier audits.
• Monitor performance of key KPIs at the supplier and identify proactive measures for outliers or drifting KPIs (SPC).
