Job summary

ASM International N.V. invites a Regional University Relat1ons & Early Careers Recruiter to shape the talent pipeline across Asia, including Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China, and Singapore.

You’ll collaborate with local TA teams, universities, and student communities to connect engineering and technology talent with ASM. The role partners with US/EU Early Careers teams and recruitment marketing on program planning and execution, driving high-volume campus outreach and early career strategies across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience for professional roles and new graduates.
• Experience with high-volume recruiting.
• Experience with university recruiting, early career hiring, internships, and/or graduate programs.
• Strong network-building capabilities across universities and research institutes.
• Knowledge of the Asia talent market, especially STEM/engineering.
• Ability to influence across functions and geographies.
• Business-level English; Mandarin preferred; Japanese/Korean a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute ASM’s university recruiting plan across Asia with measurable impact.
• Develop trusted relationships with universities, professors, labs, career centers, and student groups.
• Create targeted engagement plans for STEM disciplines.
• Identify opportunities for collaborations such as lectures, talks, capstone projects, scholarships, and sponsorships.
• Translate business hiring needs into regional early-career roadmaps and lead internship/NCG programs across Asia.
• Drive intern-to-full-time conversion strategies and talent community engagement.
• Activate university-focused talent plans in line with global MarCom standards and COE guidance.
• Represent ASM at university fairs, conferences, and student events; coordinate with internal teams for messaging.
